Reminiscing - November 2019 - Pre-Covid San Francisco Visit with My Son, Tom

Tom and Mary K.

Looking back in my past vacation photos, I came across a very special trip that I didn’t blog. Christmas came and then Covid…

So…Here it is (mostly photos…what a wonderful time we had … Mom and Son!  November, 2019 - San Francisco.

First stop every morning…a walk up Hayes Street and our morning coffee at Ritual in the park.

I love this neighborhood!  Looking at these pre-covid photos and visiting recently, sadly, some of these wonderful Hayes St. area small businesses didn’t make it through the pandemic.

After each day’s morning coffee, we began our San Francisco adventure!  Great sights, marvelous food, lots of fun, and, of course, shopping (and, lots of walking)!

Love those potato pancakes!

Another favorite (and popular) coffee spot! Blue Bottle…a short lantern lit walk from Hayes Park.

Wonderful pottery by this amazing artist! MM Clay

Eating deliciously at a variety of restaurants and cafes, we decided, after one of our long days of exploring, to stop at Tom’s local Green Market and Meat Market and prepare our evening’s dinner!

My last day in San Francisco, Tom rented a car (his usual modes of transportation…walking, electric scooter and Uber)….and treated me to a marvelous trip to Napa Valley wine country and, of course, wine tasting!

Super memories of a wonderful visit with my terrific son!
